I say, just stop smoking, and wait to see how you feel. I wouldn't rush to a physician because these days the docs are pushing drugs. The pharmaceutical industry spends a lot of money promoting their drugs and are also spending a lot of money "educating" the physicians on how to treat their patients for "depression". I know - I used to sell in this field...
Don't go on the medication merry-go-round if you don't have to.

I'm not anti-drug re: pharmaceuticals - they have their role, but I am definitely not into recreational drugs because we simply don't know what is in them these days. Pot is treated/sprayed with so much **** now, you just never know what you're smoking...

Hang tight and wait to see how you feel in a few weeks. Remember, THC stays in the body for quite awhile....
and...........don't worry!!

When I felt short of breath, several years ago, the dr diagnosed me with depression.  I was feeling anxious, like I was going to snap, but she said depression.  I believe you should get a complete physical and go from there.  You may need medication and/or therapy.  If it is anxiety/depression, I would not say it is a permanent thing, but it's not something that goes away in a day or two either. Good luck and let us know.

Sometimes the marijuana increases anxiety.  My advice is to stop smoking :)
