Brain fog/spaced out feeling?

I was watching TV today, and I caught myself just sitting there and spacing out. It almost felt as if there was mud all over my brain and it was foggy. I had to shake my head to get out of the spaced out feeling. I know that this is a symptom of anxiety, but it felt worse and different. Is it just me overthinking an anxiety symptom, or is it something serious?

I too get this with my anxiety and also the feeling of being detached at times. It is perfectly normal with anxiety. and I do believe that at times are constant anxiety can make it feel worse. When i start to feel this way I  sit back for a minute and say to my self that it is just my anxiety and it will get better. the best approach is to not feed into it and see it for what it is.over thinking it just makes us feel like its is more then what it is. Its just all those chemicals up there going crazy not you .

Yeah, it could be anxiety, don't over think it or it will take over. I have been spaced out for 3 yrs night and day and it's a real problem. Just write it off and go about your day. Don't think about it much, trust me you don't want my problem.
