Can anxiety cause no erection?

I masturbated alot to porn for years. Im 19 years old. And i tried having sex when i was 16 i thibk an could not get hard. And i can get hard when i masturbated. I stopped because i believe masturbation is one cause. Another cause i believe is anxiety and/or stress. Couple days ago me and girlfriend were kissing and i had a weak erection and then she started touching it and it went away :( im so scared that im not going to be able to get an erection with her. What can i do so i wont be stress out or anxiety. Or what can be my problem?

I strongly recommend you post your questions on both the Erectile Dysfunction Forum and the Sexual Health Forum. They may be able to help you with the psychological issues behind this problem.

If they can't, then therapy is the only alternative I can think of.

Do you have any older men friends you could talk to about this? Just about every man in the entire universe has gone through a "flat tire" episode and they can no doubt reassure you that this too shall pass.

Maybe some of the guys around here will add some wisdom.
You're gonna be OK, OK?

First, let go of the notion that masturbating has anything to do with this. It did not cause hair to grow on your palms, it did not cause you to go blind and it is not the cause of what you're experiencing now.

Anxiety and stress could be to blame for this temporary, ah, malfunction.
Or it's possible that because you've lost an erection or two, you now have performance anxiety.

You do need to see a Urologist to make sure there is nothing physical preventing you from getting and maintaining an erection. If everything checks out OK, then you're looking at a psychological reason and that will take some therapy to figure out. Either way, it's fixable. You didn't break it.
