Clonazepam Tapering

A friend gave me her persription for Clonazepam 0.25 x 3 times a day I've used 90 pills in about a month and a half - she gave these to me due to a personal problem with high stress...I'm now down to 7 pills and I'm very worried about withdrawl.
I suffered through horrible withdrawl before after useing Ambian for many years. Can I cut the last 7 in half and take a half a day for 14 days? be reduction from 3 a day. I wish I had known this was a benzo I would have never started it!

Since I haven't been taking it that long is more likely that I won't have severe withdrawl?

OK.........I'm not gonna give you the lecture you deserve about taking another persons medication, most especially a freaking benzo.
And no one on this forum is going to give you advice about how to get off it. Not because we're not nice..........because we are not qualified.
You need to get to your doctor and tell him/her what you did. (I fear the lecture will happen there!)
Only they can help you safely get off this drug.
I'm not a doctor nor a pharmacist, so I can't begin to address your question about your withdrawl. Just get to your doctor. And please don't ever do this again!
