Effexor to Wellbutrin in 2 days

My doctor took me off of Effexor 150mg on a Monday and put me on Wellbutrin 300 mg on Tuesday.  Until this happened I had never even been in a mental ward. Within 5 days I was covered in hives, in a rage one minute and in tear the next, tried to kill myself...  It has now been 9 years since this incident and I have been in and out of Mental Wards ever since.  I had an allergic reaction to Bupropion and went back to Effexor 300 mg immediately.  Too late.  I was able to hold my job for only 1 more year after this and the longest I have held a job now is 2 years.  In the past year I have walked out of my last 2 jobs.  I am 53 years onld now and unable to earn a living. Is there any help out there????

Yes you can and that is is more proof that you have tried and tried and it just does not work out.  Find a lawyer under dissability law in the yellow pages. You will pay your lawyer out of the initial payment that you get.  He/she will get a percentage of your payment.  We are not talking big money but you can get section 8 housing where you pay rent according to the SSI you bring in.  You should be able to get Medicare and Medicaid. This will provide you with all the health care you need including in home care and cleaning.  You can get your bath that way.  There are plenty of places (usually with some sort of waiting line) where you can get meals once or twice a day.  If you are not 55 it is OK because you qualify with the disability. This way you can be independant and let you kids lead their own lives.  Check it out and let me know.  Wendy

Have you applied for SSI? I had the same experience with jobs.  Because of my nut house history, I had the perfect record for the SSI court.  I was so nutty that I filled out the paperwork myself and of course they denied me so I got a Social Security Disability lawyer and he handled the whole thing.  He took a percentage of my initial settlement package and that was that.
