Effexor - vision side effects, will they last?

Just started Effexor yesterday and of course haven't noticed any positive effects yet, but driving to work this morning, all the stop lights were blurry and it seemed hard to focus on things far away

Is this a short term side effect, something that will go away?  Or will it persist while I'm taking it and I need to try something else?  Not something I feel safe living (&driving!) with

I took Effexor for years.  I never had a problem like you have described.  I would definitely talk to my doctor about it.  It could be the Effexor, I don't now, but it could also be an unrelated health concern.  I'm sorry I can't be more help.
