Effexor withdrawl

I have been taking Effexor 75 mg for a few years and when I tried to cut the dose from 1 per day to 2 or 3 times a week I suffer from tremendous fatigue and severe body aches. This has been going on about 2 weeks. The aches won't go away. I'm wondering that since I am back on 75mg a day, will my body readjust and go back to normal?

If you went back to the original dose of 75mg qd, you should return to "normal." But you need to talk to your doctor about tapering off this medication. Please do NOT attempt to do it on your own again. Effexor is a very powerful drug and you must withdrawl slowly and under the close eye and supervision of your doctor.
To go from taking 75mg every day to taking it only 2-3X per week is a train wreck waiting to happen.
