Face & Neck Stiffness

I quite often get muscle spasm in my neck as well as stiffness. Use a bit of DicoflamD or Celebrex prescribed by GP. This time I experience stiffness from shoulder, neck across my head up to my forehead. Now and again a little headache across the head into the side of my face.  My legs also at times feels wobbly. What could this be and should I seek medical attention. Blood pressure a little raised, more than usually, flushed face, a little off balance. This happened before and settled with OTC etc. This time it wont settle. I'm afraid and feel like crying. I'm on treatment HRT, Hypothyroid, Hypertension since a young age of 30. Had a lot of trauma in the family over the past 18 months. Stress levels at work might have a negative impact on the issue.  Gp examined and told me the discs in my neck is also not what it should be. Voltaren injection x1. And sent me home.

Hey.
I am having the same problems with stiffness in the neck and shoulders. Especially last night I was watching my sisters kids. While we were playing a game when I started to get a muscle spasm which lasted an hour when my whole upper torso got stiff.  I keep getting told it's nerves being pinched or panic attacks. But I hope it turns out ok with you after your appointment.

Thanks, I made appointment with a specialist next week and then let you know. Our medical aids are not that good. But will definately see to it. Annetjie
