Heavy head feeling and eye focusing problem

Hie, for the past 2 weeks i have had this heavy headed feeling, sometimes at the back of my head, sometimes it feels like the whole head. The feeling will be there constantly. Throughout the day, sometimes i feel throbbing pain at both sides of my temple. Apart from that, my eyes focus seems to be getting weird - don't really know how to explain the feeling, but it feels like my focus expands and then shrinks. My eyes also feels tired easily since this whole episode started. Before this happens, i've had a few other worries regarding my health, and hav been getting up several hours before i am suppose to be up. I have done a renal blood test (the doctor thought i might be anaemic) and a CT scan, both of which came back negative. I've been asked to go to an eye doctor instead. Should i be worried about brain tumour?

Hi, just want to tell you that many of the symptoms you describe can be the result of an inner-ear disorder. There are relatively few medical practices that truly understand these disorders, but to begin, you can look on the VEDA web site, vestibular.org. I have just joined the fundraising board for this organization, which serves as a hub for many different countries because there is so little information disseminated worldwide. The three places I know of who are experts in the USA are: The Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins in Maryland, and Dr. Steenerson (ENT) who works with Gaye Cronin (OT) in Atlanta. They gave me the first proper diagnosis after three years of being told to go to psychiatrists. Mine was the result of a car accident, but there are many different causes for inner-ear disorders. The conundrum is, does anxiety cause the symptoms, or do the symptoms cause the anxiety. It's yours to ponder and investigate. Best, Deborah

I suggest trying acupuncture - I suddenly was overcome by severe panic attacks 1-2 times per day and high anxiety, and a mixture of Acupuncture, Chiropractor, and Vitamin B Complex helped.. along with some support from family and close friends, I absolutely feel like I am on the road to recovery.

I suggest trying acupuncture before going on medicine - it helps!
