Being a stay at home mom IS one of the most exhausting jobs in the world! I finally went back to work just to get some rest!
My advice WOULD have been to read or watch a movie to keep your mind off your health anxiety, but that obviously is not the answer for you. Keeping busy seems to work, but you can't stay busy 24/7, and besides, you deserve time to relax!
The only idea I can come up with is for you to get into some therapy to deal with your health anxiety, because until you figure out WHY, it's always going to be there. No doubt part of your exhaustion comes from constantly trying NOT to think about yourself.
See your doctor for a good going over and dicuss your health anxiety. Ask for a referral to a therapist...........take your life back!
