I have bites and i dont know why

I have been waking up with bug bites on my arms, legs, hands, and ankles.  It was worse about 3 months ago, i thought this was bed bugs, so i freaked out bought some bed bug spray and sprayed down my couch's, my chair and my bed also around the bed really well.  The bites stopped coming so drasticly.  Now i am getting random bites again and i don't know what to do anymore.  This is making me extremely irritable and insecure, sometimes these bites get so itchy they turn into scabs..  Please help me with this if anyone can.

It does indeed sound like bed bugs. Bedbugs have feasted on sleeping humans for thousands of years. After World War II, they were eradicated from most developed nations with the use of DDT. This pesticide has since been banned because it's so toxic to the environment.

Typically, no treatment is required for bed bug bites. If itching is severe, steroid creams or oral antihistamines may be used for symptom relief. Secondary bacterial infections that develop over heavily scratched areas may require the use of antibiotics. Best wishes!

It does sound like bed bugs, and they are difficult to get rid of because they can hide so easily.  It may take several times to totally get rid of them, and always follow the directions so you aren't inhaling too much of this product.  Remove all your bedding and wash in hot water, spray under, over and around your mattresses, and pillows.  Make sure the room is well ventilated when you do this, and make sure your pillows get lots of fresh air before sleeping on them.  You have to be as persistent as they are. Good luck and take care.
