Scaredjo couldn't be more right.

Since my anxiety has taken over my life a few yrs. ago I have been completely off any kind of schedule w/ my periods. They used to be like clockwork, now? Forget it!  I never know when or if......every 2 months, or 4 or 6, etc... Also have had hormones tested several times.....2 yrs. ago everything was in the tank, said I was in full Menopause, had the levels of a 70yr old.......2 months later? Period back.....for 3 months then gone again......then back...then gone....OY!!

Just had them done again.....Estrogen just fine and dandy.....progesterone in the tank......couldn't believe it. My estrogen hasn't been any where near ANY normal levels for my age in 2 yrs. But now that I have my anxiety under better control, it's back. At least now I know I can supplement the progesterone, which is much safer. But, I also know why I've gotten fibroids, why my horrific periods have become more so when i do have them, which is why I really don't want them back in a way....good riddence, BUT.....much better for health reasons to have them back. And maybe w/ the right balance of progesterone they won't be as bad.
Also, anxiety had been causing my cholesterol to rise, my blood sugar to rise, etc...for the past 2 yrs. Never had an issue before that. But they are also getting lower where they should be, with no meds.....just treating my anxiety better.

Stress will cause your periods to disappear, to come too often.....just go wacky. Along w/ stress comes not taking care of yourself, not eating right, etc..

A lot of female athletes don't get theirs at all, especially those who diet far too much , such as gymnasts, etc.. Not good at all in my opinion.......

Start using that BC!! You already have too much stress.....don't add to it by doing something easily remedied.

Take care, be well, Teresa ; )

You got it...I will cross all my fingers and toes.

The last time you had a scare...I had asked you something...I'm not sure if you responded or not....

COULD you honestly BE pregnant?  If so...why not take precautions against an unwanted pregnancy?  It's pretty clear cut...if you don't want to be pregnant, then protect yourself.  It may really ease your anxiety!

Hang in there!
