Is it possible to get bacterial meningitius like this?
Okay, so someone at work got me some water and I don't know if they drank from the water or not. It didn't look like it, but I'm not sure. If that person had bacterial meningitius, could I be infected if I waited like 20-30 min before I had drank the water? It was a cup of water not a water bottle.
Bacterial Meningitius can be contagious. Does the person who possibly drank the water before you have Bacterial Meningitius? The person is only usually contagious the first 2 days of symptoms.
You would DEF. know if you had it... you would have a VERY STIFF neck, headache, probably a fever... vomiting possibly...
The stiff neck is a dead give away. But DO NOT WORRY.
