Is this Lexapro working for me?

Hi, I started on Lexapro 7 weeks ago very slowly. I am on my 3rd week of 10mgs now and my symptoms of panic are all under the surface. I feel them as soon as I wake up. I was feeling better and now I really don't know what is going on. Is this just me adjusting to the 10mgs or is this just not working for me. Has anyone had this same experience and did it all work out for the best.  Please someone answer . thanks

Lexapro has worked great for me.  I used to be irritable to my husband at nights, and I would break down and cry at nights...but now that all is completely gone.  Also people have noticed a big change in that fact that I am not at all as shy as I was.

Hello, I began Lexapro about 2 months ago and felt really weird in the beginning. I got heart palpations, chest pain, insomnia, and felt really 'panicky'. All of these symptoms did go away after about 3 weeks and I felt fine. But, to be honest...I don't think it was really doing anything for me. I was still having some mild panic attacks. I have just decided to stop it (mainly because I have been exercising and dieting like crazy and havent lost 1lb!) but also because I just felt like it wasnt really doing anything for me so why take it?? Now that I have been off of it for a day, I feel like ****. I am having all of the same symptoms like when I began. I just hope this goes away! But, this is just my experience, I have heard alot of people say that they feel great on it and it has changed their lives....so I would say try to stick with it for at least a month or two and see how you feel. Hope this helped :)
