Is this some kind of anxiety?

Hi!

I've had this ever since I was a kid. I love riding on swings. However, I've noticed that whenever I'm riding on one and start swinging, I start to panic or get nervous. I always get that feeling that the swing is going too fast and too high and that I would fall off. Sometimes, even though no one is around, I always feel like someone's behind me attempting to push the swing harder. I always get all these feelings even though I'm alone or even if the swing is not swinging at all then almost immediately I would get off the swing.

Also, I don't like the feeling of bathtubs. One time, we were in a hotel and the bathroom had bathtub and a shower. When I first saw the bathtub, I was excited because I've always wanted to try using a bathtub. However, the moment I stepped on the it, I got nervous. I felt like I'm gonna drown even though there's no water in it. I ended up using the shower instead, and I had to rush. I didn't even move much except when I'm getting shampoo and soap but the entire time, I stood not taking a step. The moment I stepped off the bathtub, I eased up and started to relax myself again.

Am I exaggerating things or it's something else? I really don't get it. The bathtub incident was just one time but the swing though. The moment I ride a swing they come back.

Everyone has things that bother them.  Sometimes when movement like a swing bothers you it can be an inner ear imbalance or just a fear of losing control.  It doesn't mean you have an anxiety problem or that you don't have one.  The question for that is, do you feel anxious about nothing or phobias about a lot of things, or are there just a couple of things you don't like?  Most people are afraid of public speaking and heights, but that doesn't mean they have an overarching anxiety problem, it just means they're scared of those things.

Maybe you're right, it could be fear of losing control. I was thinking of possible causes. It could be due to that one time I rode "splash ride" in an amusement park and it was not a pleasant experience. I also remembered when I was riding a swing before, it gave me nauseous feeling and eventually I threw up. I just didn't like the panic I feel when on swings or bathtub.

I'm still confused though but thank you so much for your response. I really appreciate it even though I feel like I wasn't making any sense.

Apologies for the late response. I was busy with a lot of things.
