Kill or Cure

I'm sorry for posting this but I have to tell someone, the people in my life that I have told are not that impressed by it and have no idea how hard it was for me.

I have just been out for a walk with my son AND I went into a shop a bought something AND I didn't die, collapse or freak out. I feel like I'm about to have a heartattack now but I can live with that.

I am so proud of me, this is the first time that I have done anything by myself in four months and the first time out alone with my baby. Perhaps I am on the road to recovery after all.

I'm going to continu having my heart attack now! :-)

Yay!! xx

So...goodeys had a good day??? Couldn't resist. Sorry.LOL

How awesomely wonderful. Congrats, congrats, congrats. Freeing isn't it? The old "I think I can, I think I can" just turned into "I know I can! I know I can!". You have got to be on cloud 9! So happy for you. Keep it going and good luck and...wow!

Many of my journals deal with the situation you have described, including the business about people not "getting it." I've often thought that waterboarding might be a good treatment for THEM -so they know what WE feel. Anyway, have a look though my material and see if any has meaning for you.

In particular, I refer you to "Sweeoing out the Garage."

Sounds like you're gettting ahead. Keep up the good work.

Thank you for all of your really kind words, I knew that you guys would understand and if I can do it with my heart failure/dissected Aorta (ha) then I have utter faith in all of you.

I am even starting to think that this evil enemy will be beaten at somepoint and that life does and will go on.

Many thanks again for everything, I am so glad that I found you guys.

I am so happy to hear this, and even more PROUD of you--and we have never even met!  You are right, people who have never suffered anxiety do not understand the many obstacles that we face every single day.  Simple things that others take for granted, we struggle with.

Hooray for you!  I'm always so glad to hear about accomplishments...I think it helps all of us on this forum..other's feats give us confidence and inspiration that there is life outside this anxiety trap.

yey-Yey-YEY! :)
