Leg Jumping

Hello Again!
Just a quick question - I have, for the longest time, found that when I am sitting (be it at my desk at work or just watching tv) that my leg(s) can't keep from moving. Is this unrecognized anxiety? It seems to slow down / stop when I take the Xanax prescribed for me and lately, because I am paying attention, I am starting to find that I am clenching my teeth. There is nothing particular that I am feeling anxious about but I wonder if is part of the GAD and I never knew it...

Just wondering if others have experienced the same... :)

You may want to look up "Restless Legs Syndrome" - which could be related to anxiety but I think neither requires the other.  If your legs jump when you are asleep I think that means RLS.

If you sleep alone, you may never know if your legs jump when you are asleep.  My wife sure knows when mind do and she lets me know.  If I get up a stretch it  usually helps stop the RLS.

What jerry nj said... But yes anxiety can make ur legs feel anxious n ur teeth bite like sometimes we don't notice but when we are tense we bite or clench ur teeth... Just try no putting attention to those symptoms they only overwhelm you.. Trust.. Relax..

I haven't heard I do it in my sleep... My boyfriend would definitely tell me if it did. Hmmmmmm... I had thought of RLS, maybe I will ask my Dr when I go this week.

Thanx!
