Mind keeps going...and anxiety kicks in

Just broke up with my boyfriend and my mind has been going.  It was for the better me breaking up with him.  I just keep thinking if I made that right decision.  I hope I did.  Right now my anxiety is really bad.  Fricken worryin like none other.  Trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about it, but it won't go away.  I don't know what to do.......

Thanks good input for me.  Just feels weird right now not having him around, but it will be for the better.

It's always rough when you break up, no matter what the circumstances or who did the breaking up. When my last gf broke up with me I went into a very long, very self destructive depression. It's only recently that I've pulled myself out of it. You can make it through it. Just keep telling yourself it was the right move and you'll move on.

Time does indeed heal all wounds. Time just has its way of...well, taking time.

But keep busy. Don't sit around freaking out or moping. Get outdoors and exercise, read a book, spend time with friends. Do not do what I did which is to sit in your room with a bottle feeling sorry for yourself. Be proactive and enjoy your new life.

Break ups are never easy.  Just keep reminding yourself of the reasons you broke up in the first place and know that eventually things will get better.  Try not to sit around thinking about it.  Surround yourself with friends and family and enjoy yourself.  Best of luck....
