Need to Know what going on

I have had anxiety off and on for the past month and a half. lately, I've been getting panic attacks in my sleep. These are real strong attacks that come from my stomach and spread to my arms and legs. When I look around the bedroom or think of anything else, it seems unreal and weird.

The next day I walk around work like a zombi but get my work done. I live in fear of an attack constantly. These aren't the usuall rapid heart beat attacks. These are FEAR and nervousness followed by unreality and feelings of detachment. Getting one of these at night just sets up the next day of fear.

I dont have aggoraphobia but I am fearfull to travel anywhere. I just force myself to leave the house. does this sound familiar to anyone?

You have created numerous threads. You sound like you are experiencing a high level of anxiety.  You've received excellent advice, but it is up to YOU to follow through with it.  You need to seek professional help so you can start addressing the anxiety.  As you have discovered, it doesn't just go away on it's own.  If you delay treatment, your anxiety will possibly worsen.

Go to your doctor and ask for a referral to a psychiatrist who can properly assess you and diagnose you, then discuss treatment options.  Make the call today.  While forums like this are helpful, we cannot replace real, in person professional help.

Good luck!

I know exactly what you mean and suffer the same. I feel fear and nervousness all the time but I don't feel my heart racing or my breathing going funny.

I have read that relaxation is the way out of this as when you are relaxed its impossible to feel anxious at the same time.  But how on earth do you relax I'd like to know.
