has he tried zoloft? really helps with racing thoughts, also CHEERS TO YOU AND YOUR FAMILY for supporting him. Now is when he needs you, if he may ever come across as if he is giving up, remember Anxiety/Panic is very hard as it is not like a broken ankle you can see get better or a headache you know is in your head and will go away fast, Anxiety can last a long time, with ups and downs and one sits wondering how to control it and it can be very frustrating. again give him all the support he needs and also ask him to come to this site allot of support here.
He started to see a counselor and seemed to like her, but it's a significant drive b/c of insurance reasons. One of his anxieties is about traveling far and spending money. It has been such a tough journey, and we (my sis, mom, and I) have tried sooo hard to be supportive, but it gets tough when he no longer wants to try. May I ask, what, if any, medication are you on that has worked for you?
