It's fairly easy once you start looking around. That's helpful too, just start looking around. You can always click on the very first tab on the top left of each page that says "Forums". That will always bring you back to the main page that lists all of the different forums. This one is found under "Anxiety".
Feel free to ask questions on your thread here if you are having any trouble getting around.
Welcome!

Can you explain how to use the site ?
Thank You, Terrified13
I agree that you need to talk with your doctor. WHY all of a sudden does she say she wants you to stop taking it? Actually, in 30 years for you to only be at 2.5mg daily is great!
If your doctor is adamant, I would get another opinion.
In the worst case scenario, if she continues to insist, you tell her you expect a VERY slow and VERY controlled taper to minimize w/d symptoms.
Make sure you tell her about the situation with your grandson and that you really can't afford to be making that kind of change, not at least until things with him are resolved as it can affect the outcome.
Very best of luck, hope you get it sorted out, let us know!
You must talk to doctor or find another. Obviously the med is working for you. Am guessing you've tried others that weren't habit forming that haven't.
I'm in same situation with klonopin. The only anti anxiety that keeps me functioning. My psychiatrist knows I've tried and retried antidepressants with unacceptable side effects.
Believe what is happening is the huge media coverage of these meds is scaring docs and insurance companies..mine hasn't paid for klonopin for a couple of years. Unfair to those of us who don't abuse..but there it is.
You will need plenty of support to discontinue drug...and then what? Back to anxiety that put you on med to begin with? Doesn't make sense.
Reach out...explain your situation...see if you can't find a solution.
