Hi,i have not bought the book, but subscribe their news letter,i think their concept is more or less like linden method, without fear panic/anxiety cant exists,so one need to train their behaviour towards anxiety, its not easy but i think it can be done.
I have purchased the program. I will say it helped some in the beginning. I do listen to the calming CD while driving which helps at times, but if you are able to find a good therapist in your area, you may do better going that route. Having someone teach you lifelong techniques and re-training how you think and see things seems to be what helps people the most with panic. Best to you!
All I will add is that counting on one book or program may not be the answer. Most of us here have found that a little of this and a little of that help us to chip away at our anxious minds. Music is a grand way to distract and change your mood.
Any therapist you will see is going to help you with calming techniques. What I like about therapy, is that a trained person can get you back on a more rational footing.
The therapist may say a few of same things you find in book or program. But, here is the best part: the sessions are about you. Your specific situation. Your specific fears and anxieties.
In my case, I still remember and practice techniques I was given 20 or more years ago. That is how powerful therapy is in the treatment of anxiety disorders.
