Sounds so good!! Im glad to hear that this has worked for you........(and probably only you!!!)....keep us posted when your Anxiety is all gone...not almost...because you either have Anxiety...or you don't....not sometimes!!....
Wow, congrats on getting over the anxiety! hope you keep on improving!!! lets us know how it goes!!
What a stupid statement 'you either have anxiety or you don't'. Some people just get it going for an interview and then it's gone. I had it through PTSD and very very badly I may add for 18 months. Yes some negative thoughts pop up but it's getting better and it takes time. In any illness it is stages to getting better, you don't wake up one day and go......I'm better.......it's gradual if you are doing it properly.
And yes this may not work for everybody but it has an 80% success rate. When I tried this I wasn't sure but it has worked and I tried everything, I'm not a quitter.Don't be so cyncial!
Your response to "Stafford" was rude and we don't make judgement calls, nor we make snide comments on other peoples steps to recovery. One of the things we say on this forum is that "what works for one may not work for another," and that applies to any form of treatment. We also have another little saying here, "Whatever works." It would be good for you to memorize those if you care to continue posting here.
Also, when you write that "you either have anxiety or you don't.........." is highly debatable. Some people only experience one episod their entire lives. Some have anxiety for a given period of time and either through therapy or meds, or a combinations, get past it, move on, and never have it again. Some people go through phases of anxiety and experience it as an on again/off again ordeal. And some people will always have it on a daily basis. Your statement was a bit too broad as there are as many ways to experience anxiety as there are people with it. And they all post here.
While this forum deals almost exclusively with pharmacological and psychiatric means towards recovery and/or management, people ARE allowed to tell us about a method they found helpful. If they wish to expound on this method, or claim that it's "better" than meds and therapy, they can go to the Alternative Therapies Forum. Stafford was only telling us about something that worked for him, and which other posters may be interested in.
Please be advised that negative posts will not be tolerated.
Peace

It wasn't meant to be taken offensively by Staff...or you. I guess I should have re-read was I was writing. Sorry to have offended you both. Good luck with your battle to an almost anxiety free life!! Cheers!
