Really Scarred!

About 4 weeks ago i woke up with chest pains and heart racing feeling i stood up and was really dizzy and nauses and felt like i wasnt realy there. we called teh ambulance and they took me to the hospital they did an ekg and it came back fine This has happened several times and they keep telling me it is anxiety. my family doctor prescribed me celexa, trazadone and lexapro.  i take these meds and they do not help.  recently i went in because my face went numb i had vertigo eyes blurry they did a ct scan adn that also came back normal. my chest had the most intensely painful burning sensation my heart rate was 130 blood pressure 140/104  and again the ekg was normal and said it was anxiety. i wore a 48hr holter monitor adn that came back fine.   my head has really bad pressure above my ears and the back and my neck is really stiff and painful. there isnt a time where my chest feels normal. it is always uncomfertable. my body is always weak and shaky. i feel like its more than anxiety but they keep saying it is just that.    Am i loosing my mind?

i have had some tramatic events happen recently. my daughtes father was abusive and left me pregnant and then took me to court 4 yrs later for visitation and he got it. i lost a child due to prematurity. about a month after that i witnessed my son have a febrile seizure he was completely blue adn convulsing due to a fever he is okay now but it scarrred me **** less.  then my husband filed for divorce adn took temp custody of my son and kicked me out with nothing.  i do worry alot about the safety and health of my children  but i dont understand why im having such alwful pain in my chest that just doesnt go away.

It sounds just like anxiety. I have the same symptoms. Your body is "overflowed" with adrenaline, constant in a fight and flight modus -and this affect our bodies in many ways. Try to read a little about it on this forum and I am sure you will get many advice. (f.ex lifestyle changes, changing thoughts, medication etc). If you are not reassured by your docs answer, get a full check up, and if everything is fine-focus on adressing the anxiety. Its not necessary to suffer with this condition for a long time. Also, Claire Weekes (doctor) has written some really, really great books on anxiety/nervous suffering, and how to overcome it.  Try to google her name and her books "hope and help for your nerves" and peace from nervous suffering". Take care!I know how you feel!

Why don't you try a different doctor to get a second opinion.  It sounds like you are under incredible stress so you might want to try talk therapy too.

Are you taking both Celexa and Lexapro?  They are both antidepressants and the side effects from either one could be causing some of the symptoms you are feeling.
