Resistance to drugs

Does anyone else out there think that there are some people who are just plain old resistant,physically,that is,to any drugs that might help them with their anxiety/depression? I am beginning to wonder if that is true for me.

Yes, I agree with you.  Some people are resistant to durgs. Once a doctor told me that I am bipolar because I couldn't take Zoloft.  Can you believe that.  Everytime that I have started to take a A/D drug my symptoms increase greatly.

Hi .    I have thought the same thing at times. Maybe meds lose their effectiveness after along period of use. That is what I am going through right now. My Dr has increased 1 of my meds. So I guess I will find out soon enough.Treeman
