While someone here may share your anxiety that the doctor is not giving you the straight dope, NONE of us are qualified to challenge medical advice. And so, if a little voice is telling you something's not quite right, then you need to find another doctor. "TRUST" should be the essential component of the doctor-patient relationship, so, if it is missing in yours -find someone where trust is not an issue.
Please let us know what you do, and thanks for an important question.
Get your thryoid tested too. you would be amazed at what this little galnd can mess with if its not working right.

Hello,
I'm James, and I know all about what you're feeling. I have, and, still have the same conditions. I've been suffering for about 2 years with it. It's like you can't get it together to even have a nice stroll around the block. Car rides are not enjoyable anymore. I know that feeling all so well. I'm hoping that you find the problem. I've been asking the Lord to heal me and so far His doing his work. Amen.
I'm setting up an oppointment with my Nuerologist very soon.
First and foremost, you should insist on having an MRI next time you visit your doctor's office. I wish I could have an MRI, but, I can't, because I have a pacemaker. I hoping you make a stand for yourself and ask the doctor to have you checked out with a MRI test. Don't take NO for an answer. You may not have anything wrong with you, but, it's nice to have peace of mind. Try not to let it get to you too much. Because you don't need the extra stess. Also, have your ears checked, it possible you may have vertigo. Vertigo is usually associated with a problem in the inner ear balance mechanisms. Talk to your doctor about this and maybe he can tell you a bit more.
Maybe you should consider changing your doctor and finding one that will listen to you and have a bit of compassion towards your illness.
Take care and God bless you.
James
Do you feel like you are going to faint during these episodes? Or do you just feel like you are detached from reality? I would advise you not to search on the internet as common symptoms can mean somethig as simple as a virus or something as dire as a brain tumor.
First and foremost.. it doesn't matter what your doctor thinks.. proper procedure is.. if you want to see a nuerologist, then you should directed to one though your doctor.
