Side effects (go away)

i was started on 10 mg citalopram after a weak the side effects of severe tremors, sweating , agitation, headaches, and muscle tightness seemed unbearable. I have been reduced to 5 mg (taking in the morning with .5 mg klonipan) with the option of taking a second klonapin during the day which I have been doing. However the tremors are still there as well as extreme sweating, and muscle tightness. (I have been on this dose for approximately 2 weeks. are the side effects going to go away

Thank you...am keeping in constant contact with doctor and other health care professionals. The klonipin works a little but I am still very anxious and aware of the tremors.  I appreciate your thoughts and comments

A quick call to your doctor won't hurt, and will put your mind at ease. They want and need to know if you're experiencing anything that concerns you after starting this type of medication.  He can tell you if you should wait and see, or he may have an alternative for you.  Don't stop the medication, but give him a quick call.  Best wishes.

I think if youve been on the 5 mg for two weeks the chance of it going away is getting less. Maybe give it one more week if then still not gone maybe this is not the med for you.but dont stop without consulting doc!Lily

Have the side effects improved after starting the Klonopin?  You need to keep in touch with your doctor about how you're feeling.  Most initial side effects should start improve after 2-3 weeks, it varies from person to person.  If these are side effects related to your body adjusting, you should notice some abatement of the symptoms soon.

If you don't start noticing an improvement in the side effects, or if they get worse, contact your doctor.
