I hardly know where to begin with this post, but I'll give it a shot.
You've been to two doctors who have cleared you of anything serious like heart attack, stroke or an anuerysm. And by the way, strokes are not something you "begin to get." When you have a stroke, you have it right now. Please put all three of those ideas out of your head. It is very possible you pinched a nerve while lugging those bags around. A pinched nerve will cause numbness and it can radiate to other places. If you pinched a nerve in your shoulder, it could easily affect your neck, jaw, face, chest, arms.........it's all connected. Your tooth could be the culprit. When a tooth gets bad enough to require a root canal, that means the roots are either exposed or infected or both, or are really causing you some serious problems. I am NOT a dental expert, but I have had a couple root canals in my life and they can wreck havoc on your entire head!

I think, in my humble and non-medical opinion, that you're dealing with some pretty intense anxiety. And the more you worry about your numbness, the worse the anxiety gets and the worse the numbness gets and that cycle will just keep getting worse until you stop it.

Are you getting any therapy for your anxiety? Are you on any medication for it? There is so much help out there for those of us who suffer with anxiety and panic. Perhaps it would help if you discussed this with your doctor.

You state that you are "so awful with panic I'm on antidepressants," but you immediately say that you have stopped them because you want to do things more "naturally." Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder what antidepressants you were on, how long you were on them and how did you stop them? There are quite a few antidepressants out there that if you've been on them long term, you absolutely must taper slowly off them. To just stop taking them cold turkey could cause an overwhelming amount of really awful side effects. Perhaps many of your symptoms not related to your tooth could be related to you going off the antidepressants.

Massages are excellent, but dealing with people who are really stressed out and have anxiety and panic issues, need deep tissue massage to release the built up toxins in their muscles which contribute to a host of symptoms that can make you feel terrible. I am an LMP (Licensed Massage Therapist) so I don't want to sound smug, I just know that a regular relaxing massage, while there is no doubt makes you feel great for awhile, the DTM will acutally help you GET better, not just FEEL better.

Hormones can also make us feel really good or really bad. (Think back to your teen years if you have the nerve! LOL) This might be an avenue you want to explore. Have you had a good gynecological exam lately? Had your hormone levels checked? You could possibly be pre-menopausal, even at 33 and that phase of our life can bring on many symptoms.

I surely do not mean to make fun of you..........as a recovered hypochondriac myself, I know the hell our minds can put us through. But I must say you had even ME beat by thhinking a sore leg meant cancer. It gave me a chuckle until I remembered some of the "diseases" I came up with. I feel your pain. Not that you have any pain, I didn't mean that, there is no pain.............oh, good grief!

You ask if you should post on the Neurology Forum............why would you do that? To find out if you have a brain? We KNOW you have a brain and a good one at that. One that can convince a very intelligent woman she has every disease from A-Z. Besides, that will only give you more fodder to feed your fears which are already leading you around the bend.

I would advise a sit down with your doctor, show him all your posts if that would be easier and ask for his/her help. If they are any good at their job, they will know how to do that.
Peace
