Strip Club

So i posted this question another forum but long story short I was getting a lap dance and the dancer inserted her finger in her vagina and then put it in my mouth. She did this twice. Everyone says I am at very minimal to no risk of HIV. I am starting to believe that the more I read. However, the anxiety is killing me! How do i cope with this?

Thank you nurse girl. I am in an accelerated BSN program so I will use that to distract me from everyday life. Thank you to both of you!

Ditto the above reply.  You didn't have a low risk, you had NO risk.  Anxiety860 explained the only ways you could ever be at risk for HIV.  If you haven't done those things, you don't have an HIV concern.

The problem lies with the fact that due to a lot of fear based education, and a lot of misinformation, many people have very overinflated views about the real risks associated with HIV.  Despite what people think. HIV is actually pretty rare, and is very hard to get.

You received great advice above on how to help yourself, basically stay off the internet, get engaged with life (distraction) and try to put it out of your mind.  If that doesn't work, then seek out a mental health professional.

Good luck to you.

Blunt and right to the point, I like it! I will do my very best! Besides that though, do you have or recommend any kind of techniques to keep my mind off it?

Stay off the Internet  don't google symptoms, how to catch it, anything like that. You did not have unprotected sex or shoot up drugs with a used needle. You're fine.
