I was just sitting here reading through a lot of the posts on this forum and I had an epiphany.
First let me say that I have suffered from Anxiety for 2 years now and have been to the ER twice for high blood pressure because of the attacks. I am 26/m and I had to go to the ER for 170/115 BP, thats bad! My anxiety started to get really bad after I went to the doc for a normal physical and the blood tests revieled that I had elevated liver enzymes, ALT and AST. When these are elevated the doctors start to worry about liver disease, let me say that it scared the **** out of me. After about 1 1/2 years of testing, including a liver biopsy my liver looks fine according to all the tests. I have been to all sorts of doctors trying to diagnose my own disease including: Cardiologist, Endrocrinologist, Gastroenterologist, Pysciatrist, and a Pyscologist. Anxiety is a pain in the ass!!
Anyways, back to what I was starting to say, before that rant, was that if you look through the posts you can see just how bad anxiety really is. A lot of the posts are about being scared of a brain tumor, heart attack, heart diease, or some other rare disease. Granted these dieases do affect a lot of people and there is no certain way to say if you have these or not without going to a doctor. But I just want everyone to know that you are not alone in your worries. Trust me I am finally starting to have control over my Anxiety, but I still lie awake at nights waiting for my heart attack. Just remember, in more cases than not, its just anxiety!
Thanks,
Shawn
