Yes that can happen, but I would definitely get an opinion from a doctor... could be serious...
yes a panic attack caused by anxiety can feel like that sometimes even if its not a full blown panic attack i would recommend going to your doctor and getting a check up any way for a hart prob just to have all things covered

In general, numbness/tingling is a neurological issue, something as simple as a pinched nerve, to spinal damage or disease. It's interesting to note that impacted teeth can also cause tingling, but believe it or not, usually in the feet.
"Pain" in the left arm/side could be indicative of cardiological issues, but not generally numbness. I would strongly suggest you get to your family doc or a general practice doc and have this examined.

It might be a side effect from Med, or some people can trick their mind into thinking thire body is numb when they have anxiety.
