What is the onset time for Klonopin (Clonazepam)?

What is the onset time for 2 mg of Klonopin taken sublingually?

Would this route of administration work similar to faster acting benzodiazepines such as Xanax or Ativan, or does it depend solely on having a steady amount of Klonopin in your bloodstream already?

I'm confused; why would a doctor prescribe Klonopin for anxiety attacks (i.e., take it as needed)?

Ive heard of the Oral Dissolving tablets made for sublingual administration but I highly doubt that they are available in a 25mg formulation. Maybe 2.5mg, but certainly not 25mg.
To put that into perspective, taking 25mg of klonopin would be equivalent to taking 500mg valium - a presposterous dose, and MUCH, MUCH more than ANY reputable MD would prescribe due to concerns about respiratory and other CNS depressant effects. Very commonly combined with other CNS depressants such as alcohol, barbituates, opiods, etc. would lead to serious respiratory failure, including coma and death. Check your RX label again and I believe you'll find that you made a decimal point error. Even with my massive tolerance to benzos, I would NEVER atempt such a massive dose, even without any other substances in combination.
