Why would marijuana do this to a person?

I feel really depressed, anxious, I've lost my appetite and have trouble eating food, and I occasionally will get nausea though I have yet to throw up but have come pretty close on 3 separate occasions. My legs also feel tingly, almost numb. My heart is beating faster most of the time and I am having trouble sleeping because my legs feel so weird.

It will go away naturally.

If you want a natural calming herb extract that you can buy at your local health store you can look for Valarian. It is affecting the GABA in more or less the same ways benzodiazepines are without causing addiction.

Does that mean I need anti anxiety meds or will it go away naturally?

Activating the CB1 receptor by smoking cannabis due to it's psychoactive substance called THC lead to decreased levels of GABA. Low levels of GABA are linked with anxiety and panic attacks. Most anti-anxiety drugs like benzodiazepines are acting by raising the levels of GABA therefore promoting hypnotic and sedative effects. Activating the CB1 receptors is also linked with an increased appetite, sugar craving and sedation. The combustion of cannabis will not result in only getting THC but also other substances that might contribute to other symptoms.

Trust me- it's not the marijuana, not after all this time.

It's either an antibiotic reaction or maybe an infection you've picked up.

Get checked out by your family doctor and don't worry about it!

Take care
