Xanax and Paxil-What side effects occur when stopped suddenly
Please tell me the potential side effects of dropping of xanax and paxil suddenly and for several days?
You don't want to stop taking EITHER of those meds suddenly. Stopping a benzo, like Xanax abruptly can actually be dangerous, causing seizures among other things, and Paxil is notoriously hard to come off of as it is, let alone stopping without a taper.
Please have your doctor help you safely and properly get off BOTH meds, preferably a doc who knows these meds well.

For me, there were too many side effects to count regarding Benzodiazapines.
For Paxil: A continual " swooshing type, electric sound n sensation in my head and eyes ". That wasn't good. Paxil isn't good. For me that is.
