Are you seeing a doctor or psychiatrist? Since both Cymbalta and strattera target norepinephrine, they could conflict, and could cause more anxiety -- they're both stimulants to a certain extent, though both can also cause sedation, meds being what they are. This drug is used for attention deficit disorder, and that's all it's been approved for and researched for, which doesn't mean it can't be used off-label for your needs, it just means it hasn't been researched for that. It might be the greatest thing, I'd just want to make sure whoever was prescribing it really knew their psychopharmacology well, and most regular docs just don't have as much experience with them. Hope success for you whatever you do. You know, you can google these meds and medical websites such as NIH and Drugs.com will tell you a lot about them so you can discuss them with your docs.
Listen to your doctor, he knows what is best for you and your needs. Medication is an individual thing for all of us, and this is why it is best to discuss these issues with your doctor. Take care!
