Any luck finding help?..

I began to being dizzy about five months ago. Every day, all day. It starts about 20-30 minutes after I get up  in the morning and will not go away. It's there for the day. For some reason xanax does help with my dizziness. If I take one, the dizziness subsides. If I forget to take one, it's right back. It's worse I have noticed in open spaces such as walmart or some sort of big building like that. I have this swimming feeling with my vision. Does this sound familiar? Any luck finding cure?

This may sound really strange but I have the same thing happen in certain stores. We have a store down the road from us. We live in the country so I was so happy to get this store in our little town. Every time I went in there though I would get so dizzy and sick. This has happened in some other stores too. My husband finally figured out it was the lighting. Most people don't even notice it and it does'nt bother them. The lights are florescent and make a very fast motion. Sorry, I would have to have my husband explain it.
Do you work in a place that has this kind of lighting? I know I'm reaching here but when you mentioned feeling more dizzy and anxious in stores I had to tell you about myself and how the lights effect me.

I was diagnosed with anxiety many years ago and have been taking meds ever since. I also have noticed that it worsens (even with meds) when I go into places like walmart/ lowes, etc. The docs are always clueless.

If an anti anxiety med is helping you then it is most likely anxiety. Have you been diagnosed with anxiety, are you in therapy?
The symptoms you're describing do sound like anxiety to me.
