Light headed sensations scaring me

I am presently on my final week of 50 mg of zoloft--and 1mg of lorazepam..my panic attacks have subsided and I am almost back to my normal self..however I hate the heavy head feeling I have been getting and the light headed feeling--I push through them and I keep very busy and I realise when I am out and about I hardly even remember the feeling.  It even stops when I am out and about.  Right now however as I lay in my bed the feeling returns and it scares me.  IT seems I am going through every stage of this disorder.  This same feeling is what really began my panic disorder.  It was right after my gran's death and I began to feel different.  I also had just lost a lot of weight and had cut out a lot of the foods I once ate.  Right now the very negative thoughts have subsided and I am left with this weighty feeling to the front of my head just over my eyes and sometimes to the back of my head.  I also begin CBT this week and can't wait to discuss this with my therapist.  However I wanted to know if anyone else experiences these feelings?

i'm not coming off them completely--by this week my dosage will be lowered and I will taper off the zoloft and lorazepam..i take them every day--have done that for the last month and a half...so we're into the tapering stage..after posting this I began to go into that panic mode and I was able to talk myself through it with breathing techniques and positive reassurance...the heavy head feeling may jus be the panic...I am hoping--when i first began I was on xanax and stopped it cold turkey and had awful rebound symptoms...im going to follow my Dr's advice from now on

ye i am excited to begin the CBT as I have been reading up and writing in my log as well to pick up a pattern.  trying to help myself and not rely solely on my Dr.

The head feelings your having could be because of your meds and cutting down on them. Can I ask why you have decided to stop them if they are working for you? You could have rebound anxiety and depression, hopefully not. That's great news that you will be starting CBT this week. I think this will really help you. If the head feelings continue give your Dr a call. I am pretty sure it's because you're coming of the meds though.
