zoloft withdrawl? help!

hey again,
as some already know, i was on zoloft 50 mg and klonopin .5 mg.
i saw my doc last week and he took me off zoloft because he didnt think it was the right med for me. he also told me to only take .25 klonopin before bed. thats all. he prescribed me nortryptiline (sp?) but i have heart problems so i have to see my cardiologist before i can start taking it.

so its been a week since being off of zoloft. i've had nausea, dizziness, fatigue, cant walk straight, and i feel like im floating when im laying in bed. is this due to coming off of zoloft? i was only on it for 2 weeks.

im becoming a hypocondriac and im doing all this research as to whats wrong with me. the newest thing that ive found is orthostatic intolerance & problems with my autonomic immune system. its not that far fetched so im freaking out that i have it!

i need help!!
thanks.

it was a week yesterday and i feel like im getting worse. im more nauseous than ever & extremely dizzy. i keep getting hot/cold flashes.

i meant to write auto nervous, not immune. sorry bout that :(

i looked up symtons of orthostatic intolerance and meet them all. O.I. is a sub disease. so i went to cfids.org, thats where i found most of my research.

my doc says that im just withdrawling but my hypocondriac mind doesnt believe that!!

thanks for your help. i really appreciate it. :)

Your doctor should have probably lowered your dosage of Zoloft slowly even though you were only on it two weeks.

After one week of being off Zoloft, your withdrawal from it should not be causing any smyptoms.  It should be totally out of your system by now. What you MAY be experiencing, is a bit of anxiousness.

Since I have an auto-immune disorder called Multiple Sclerosis, what makes you feel that you may have an auto-immune problem?  Maybe I can help with your questions.  I will do what I can.  If I don't know the answer, I will do some research on it and get back to you.

Hope you feel better,
Heather
