smoking marijuana and blacking out.

I was smoking a 0.7gram blunt with 3other friends around 2o clock in the after noon. I hadn't eaten anything that day but I was drinking water. I was standing outside, leaning against the wall when I felt my body get week, my vision started to blur and it felt as it I got up to quick and my vision became darker and darker and I got extremely dizzy. I felt my self fall forward not having any control of my body. My friends freaked out and helped me to the couch. I got extremely sweaty after. On the couch I drank sips of water and within 2-3 I felt fine. I went andhot food about ten minutes after. I'm very curios to know what exactly happened. I just recently started working out and I get light headed at the gym moe since I blacked out. I also have been dealing with more stress then usual can that be a reason for what happened? I'm in good shape I'm17 years old and I weigh 122lbs. Cheerleadinh for8 yesrs and I played 5 seasons of softball up to my 8th grade year.

Two PM and you haven't eaten?  Then you smoke pot?  What do you expect?  I'm not going to get into the pot thing, my own opinion is that it just makes more of what you are already.  If it doesn't do good things for you, don't smoke it.  But you sound more to me like you're not eating right, and have a blood sugar problem.  Not that anyone here can diagnose you from a distance, but the eating problems of cheerleaders isn't exactly a well-kept secret.  When you work out, you need electrolytes, protein, a good balance of carbohydrates, that in combination help build muscle, energy to burn, and endurance.  If you don't have that balance because you're not eating well, you will feel it, and not for the good.

Oddly, this happened to me when I was 17 too.   Smoking with friends and suddenly felt dizzy and blacked out.  It was a one time thing.  I continued to smoke for many years which was one of the worst decisions I have ever made.

Put the word "marijuana" up in "Search this Community" and read some old posts on the reactions of pot smoking.  You had a bad reaction which should be a wake up call for you.

Please don't smoke anymore.  It is possible for pot to bring on permanent anxiety and believe me, you don't want to live that way.
