I know. It feels like I have done hard labor when I get home and tires me out.
I notice that I get more chest pains at work and stress too. It can be a vicious cycle and so tiring.
I know. I go see my therapist later this month. I had to cancel my first visit with her because of my mother being in the hospital.
It's just funny, I get here at work and I am fine, but then at around 9:30 or 10:00, my back will start hurting, I will get dizzy, chest pains, pain all over, by the time I get off, my heart is racing 100+. I have been keeping my vital signs every day. Usually in the morning my blood pressure is perfect. I will go by and get it checked at lunch and it will be 130+ over 90+. My heart rate at home this morning was 78. At lunch time it was 108. I checked it every morning, afternoon and night this weekend and it was perfect. Blood pressure never got any higher than 130 over 85 and heart rate never went over 90, except when I would exert myself.
Well, that's a tough one. MANY people find it very hard to accept that anxiety is the cause of their symptoms. There really is not quick and easy way to learn to accept it. Your best bet is to start addressing it with a professional. They can teach you all about anxiety and how to learn to cope with it.
To keep sweeping it under the rug, hoping it will go away, or hoping that it really is NOT anxiety is definitely not the answer. I know we've discussed this several times, but again, you really would benefit from professional help. Once you start addressing the anxiety, you will feel so much better...you will not have as many panic attacks...and eventually, they will stop all together.
Also, while your job may be a trigger for your anxiety, you've had it long enough now that it is becoming chronic. Therefore, even if you found your dream job tomorrow, you would likely still experience anxiety. That's why it is not good to let it go. Even if you're not completely convinced in your heart that this is anxiety, it still wouldn't hurt to take that first step and reach out to a mental health professional!
