anyone know about medicines and flying?

I know this is a random question (but because its part of my anxiety disorder) - does anyone know if
it's safe to take medicine after you've been flying? More specifically medicine that has been kept in the luggage part of the airplane and should not be exposed to temperatures above 25 degrees Celsius/ 77 degrees Fahrenheit. Does anyone know the answer?

Not a problem whatsoever.  I know being patient with this is very frustrating...we have definitely all been there at one time or another.  I can say it does and will get better.  Just keep working at it!!

thanks for the comments. I decided to hell with it, and took the medicine. i'm fed up letting it take over my thoughts and decided that I just had to do it. But am somewhat relieved by your comments.

i know i'm very tired so i'm just trying to get through the next few days. already today i've decided i've poisoned myself eating turnip because i didn't take enough of the crown off, poisioned myself taking my medicine, my headache is something sinister..grrrrr......i know these things are unlikely, and reading it written down they seem stupid, but thats why this forum really has helped me in so many ways. Thanks again, SA

I also believe your medicine will be fine.  I fly alot and sometimes forget that I leave it in my checked luggage.  But as Cherie said just take it on the plane with you because as you know the airlines do not have the best record in ensuring your luggage makes it with you.  That way, it will always be with you and you will have it when you need it.

I would stongly recomend keeping meds in your carry on, make sure they are in origional bottle with your name on it. Put all your meds in a zip-lock or similar see through bag, Most customs only allow small bottles of liquids, so please check with your airport if you take liquids, People steal meds when given the chance, thats why I said to put in carry on, then you wont have to worry about temp.

if you meantyou already transported meds I dont think you need to worry about short term temp change ruining them , I left mine in car overnight in MI by mistake once( in the winter) called pharmisist and he said no worries, it would need to be long term exposure to in appopite temps, Pharmasuticals just need to cover their butts cause everyones so law suit happy.
