I take zoloft only with a benzo as needed, about 1 a month. They can't leave you on klonopin long term but may give you some for high anxiety times. Each time I have had the zoloft raised, I take 75mg now, it does seem to have some effect for a few days but seems to go away. At 100 mg it was just too much for me and the side effects wouldn't go away so it depends on the person what dosage you can take but it won't be the same as the klonopin. The klonopin relaxes you more. They probably gave you that until the zoloft built up
