I just wanted you to know i also take effexor 150 mg daily and adderall only 10mg 3x daily which is the standard dose. Have you takin it before?
i also suffer from anxiety which is why i take the effexor, and for depression. But the answer to your question is maybe you need adderal or you wouldn't have such a desire for it. Hey if thats what helps you function go for it.

also, lack of motivation is in part because of depression and bipolar disease. it's a cycle that causes a lot of problems, i know. Adderall stabalized my emotions. I could always count on being ready to go and able the next day. I went to bed looking forward to the mornings for the first time in about three years. My cousin is bipolar, so depression runs in my fam. if you can't take adderall, keep trying to find a way to deel with it, find the strength/discipline/knowhow or whatever you need to make a positive change in the way you live, for me it was my bad schedule that triggered bad grades and all this downward spiral stuff. Good luck to you! Even if these words mean nothing to you right now, you'll find the strength somewhere and everyone around you loves you and means it when they say you're great. I promise!

I am sorry you are feeling unmotivated. i'm sure moving date has passed, but adderall really worked for me. I studied for the LSAT and took on a huge project, something I never would have had the confidence or spirit to do before this. I would stay in bed until 2 if I had the choice most of the time.
Why don't you go see a dr before you take adderall? The drug can be strong (esp 20 mg), so I'm not sure how you would react if you are at risk for panic attacks. But, I had bad depression, which was hidden from everyone (not bipolar) and never had a panic attack, but always cried and was trapped in my own thoughts. I take adderall, and it is very strong, ive lost weight, even a little hair bc of the weightloss I think, and sometimes my gums, fingertips, and heels got numb bc it's amphetamine. But, I have never been more motivated in my life. Since you're at risk for panic attacks, I WOULD NOT take it without talking to a Dr though!

Adderall IS A STIMULANT!
Its a Amphetamine, which is not "kinda like" BUT IS a Stimulant, basically Legal Meth.

You DONT TAKE DRUGS FOR MOTIVATION, this kind of destructive thinking will only get you in allot of trouble

I took adderall with effexor xr for 5 years when I was in high school.  However, adderall taken on its own is just like any stimulant.  So it would depend on how you react to stimulants.

I heard it's not a good idea to take adderall when you have axiety.
But i dont know......b/c different people have different symptoms & react differently so.
Let me know if you try it out.
