Hey Miska89,

Here's a list of things I have used myself and for others
with a relatively good degree of success ( varies case by case and also the
amount of commitment and involvement contributes to the results).

1.Breathing retraining (as mentioned above)
2. EFT (emotional freedom techniques). Free manual download for basic application. For serious cases seek an EFT practitioner.
3. Meditation, meditation CDs with binaural beats or do a YouTube search
4. Avoidance of stressful situations and reconnecting with relaxing  calming
things like nature walks, listening to soothing music, reading self-help books, picnics in the park, etc.
5. Positive affirmations, verbal, written, visualized and repeated frequently.
6. Self-hypnosis.
7. Healthy  eating and drinking.
8. If on any meds check for side affects or interactions.
9. Have your B Vitamins, D3, Omega-3, Gaba, Glutathione, Magnesium
levels checked. best have a complete nutritional panel (blood work)
and mineral analysis (tissue or hair analysis)
10. Check for other underlying conditions that may contribute to anxiety.
11. Exercise. Even a brisk 45' walk will help.
12. Learn as much as possible about health, mental and emotional wellness.
Check out Hay House Radio online. They have free programming.
You can listen to some of the top inspirational teachers, healers and
authors in our society.
One of my top recommendations.
Let me know if you need further details on any of the above.

Nico you write alot of good stuff here. I too have been trying to make it on my own and not use drug and Ive figured its only my feelings and negative thoughts that cause it. And some days are really good, but some it comes back. How can I prevent it from comming back?

Hi Everyone!

Normal breathing is something that most of us DO NOT do.
Anxiety sufferers are notoriously shallow breathers!
Shallow breathing and  anxiety  feed each other and create a vicious cycle.

Do yourselves a BIG favor and search:
1.Normal Breathing Website
2. Pranayama Conscious Breathing
3. Buteyco Breathing Techniques

and get details how to retrain yourselves, to breathe properly for better
health and wellness.
There are so many other natural and holistic things you can do, besides
taking medications. Let me know if you need details.
I have successfully overcome most of my issues on my own,
using holistic and natural approaches.
The side benefit is that I got professional level true health knowledge and
accreditation while pursuing my own health and wellness.

Note: Do not ever consider just dropping your medications as there may be consequences. This can only be done  with the help of your health professional and only if determined safe to do so.
And do not trust your (scary) thoughts to tentatively self-diagnose.
If I were still suffering from anxiety, I would make a rule NOT to trust my thoughts, as they could be nowhere close to the truth!
Take care.

first you should feel good that you have had this for 4 years and your still here , that tells you that its nothing thats going to kill/hurt you.

yes it is one of the anxiety symptoms that a lot get , i to have days i feel that way and yes i can yawn for hours .

have you been to a dr to tell you its anxiety, maybe a little dose of meds would help you get on your feet. i would go see a reg dr and tell them whats going on and try a few meds to just get you on feet and than once you are you can wing off of them . once you see its nothing your body will start to relax and you will get back to normal, now it will come back anxiety always does and it can change what it does to you so just be awere of that .

i've experienced the same symptoms.
first i thought it was my gastric getting worst o might be my asthma. i tried all the medicine but nothing worked. at the end it was confirmed tat i has anxiety.
i admit i was stressed on alot of things. seeing your symptoms, u might have the same also.
the symptoms i had : could not breath normally, even if i try to inhale it couldnt coz there will be a sharp pain on my chest. think back if u r having alot of stress try to reduce by doing meditation, pray or do activities tat could make u forget your problem for sumtime... if u leave it untreated it could lead to much severe problems.
