Whats causing this?

Im a 17yr old male.
Im healthy, play football, do other sports etc.

Ive ended up in the hospital for the past 2 weeks on and off, and I ended up staying a few nights to get test done.
Ive had MRIs EEGs Xrays and what not done to me to figure out a problem im having.
The doctors said it is anxiety/stress but I think there is something else there because i am not stressed out (at least i dont feel stressed or anxious) There is alot going on in my life right now, but its nothing im stressing over.
Also when they did a drug test at the hospital I had an Opioid show up in my system, the last thing i would have taken would have been 2 loratab pills my mother gave me because of the chest pain I was having. but those should have been out of my system before they did the test. And I havent done any sort of drugs, taken pills, etc for over three years.

But I asked about the date rape drug GHB and after reading some of the symptoms I ended up having them, along with the symptoms for anxiety, and the doctors keep telling me im having anxiety attacks. But im trying to figure out what trigures these, and is there any relation to them and GHB by any chance?? They keep telling me one thing but I know there is something else I just dont know what. I know my body, and i know there is something wrong, but i cant figure it out..

Right now im basically their "House" patient (House-TV show)

Symptoms im having when I go through one of these attacks:
-Shortness of breath
-Chest pain
-Dizzyness
-Body goes numb
-Pass out
-Body shakes
-Light headness
And with these chest pains, it feels like there is a jolt of electricity going throughout my entire chest.
Like it will start at the bottom of my rib cage, and go to the top, and after that it goes throughout my entire chest.
These "attacks" last anywhere between 10 minutes to 1 hour, and the pain is unbelievable, and cant even begin to describe it.
And after these "attacks" i feel like i have lost so much energy that its hard for me to even talk.

Right now I cant really eat, or drink.
These "attacks" come on out of no where. Ex. I was watching Casino Royale with my roommates and a couple friends the other night, and then I feel my heart start to race, gets harder to breathe, chest hurts, i start shaking, etc.
But if its caused by stress why is it happening when im relaxed? After a BBQ, couple games of pool, watching a movie cuddled on the couch, and all of a sudden I have to lay on the floor to be flat to be able to breathe??

Another example would be is when im sleeping, these will wake me up, and i'll go through so much pain and energy that i end up passing out a few minutes afterwards. Or I'll be awake for hours not being able to fall asleep again.

Im sorry if im rambling on, but if im spending my money and time at the hospital I want to figure out whats going on with my body, because I dont know what it is, and all they can come up with after a couple test is Anxiety.. Im sorry but this is just frustrating me because I know there is something else there, i just cant figure it out...

I went through a battery of tests before I allowed myself to accept the anxiety diagnosis.  None of us WANTS to have this.  At times I was hoping one of the many tests would turn up SOMETHING, no matter how terrible, just so I could point to that and go "AHA! That's why I feel like this!"   At times I would have preferred a brain tumor to daily debilitating anxiety.  Even today I still sometimes wonder if it really is anxiety.  That's all part of the trick.  It wants us to fear that it really is something scary, something fatal, and not just our mind playing tricks on us.

*****, huh?

Hi...
I'm sorry to inform u that "Yes", this to me sounds like a classic case of Anxiety! U hit the symptoms on the nose and yes, these symptoms can make u feel as if u are losing your mind, that something else medically is happening and that u may even die! I know what it's like because I too suffer from anxiety and have been for 3 months now...Ok, the truth is, it's just anxiety and I say "just" because it's not some terminal illness that cannot be diagnose! Anxiety will not hurt in any way, yes it will make u extremly uncomfortable, which is horrible, but treatable! I'm not taking any meds at all...I deal with mine by just accepting it for what it is and trust me, this method does work! From 3 months ago up until now, it has gotten a lot better (without meds), but remember everyone's different and maybe u may need a little help with yours especially in the beginning! Don't be afraid to try a med and guess what? If it helps improve your condition, this is proof that anxiety has come to visit u :) It's not a permenant state so don't be too concern by it! Some of the symptoms I still suffer with is Shortness of breath and Chest discomfort...I just go with the flow, very easy said then done, but I keep in mind that "whatever won't kill me, can only make me stronger". I truly believe anxiety comes with a message and it's up to all of us to figure out what we were or are doing in our lives to have welcome this condition...I hope this helps and feel free to message me anytime, I understand completely! :)

Also a few symptoms I forgot to add were.
-Steady temp, but body feels cold.
-Sometimes Lower heart rate (has gotten as low as 32 BPM)
-Sometimes Higher heart rate (has gotten as high as 108 BPM) and avg for me is 70
-Loss of color to my face (i go pale)

also its easier for me to be laying down when these are happening to be able to breathe.

This is all the information I can give, or even expalin without someone asking me questions, and I want to thank you for your time for reading this. Any help is appreciated, I just want to figure out what is going on with me
