Oh yeah, I forgot something.  The condition you referred to that has been found in some athletes, causing cardiac arrest is a condition that they were probably born with but never had the symptoms or it wasn't discovered before they had a problem.  This is the reason professionals are now trying to push to have ECG's done on young athletes, to rule this out.  Believe me, if you had this, they would have found it.  Also, it is easily fixed if you happen to know someone who does have it.  If you continue having problems accepting that you are healthy, you really should probably seek therapy so that you can beat it and move on now so that you can be mentally and physical healthy, feel great with no more worries!  At your age, you should be enjoying life and not worrying so much!!  If you would, let me know how you are!

I hate to hear you are worrying so much over this.  I know it must be hard for most people to understand your fears.  All I can think of for you would be to remember the two ECG's and the echo you had and know they were clear.  Plus and a big PLUS is your family history.  I am a RN and have worked cardiac for many years and I have to say, it sounds like you have been ruled out to having problems with your heart.  Your heart is a muscle and needs exercise to keep it in shape, just like all your other muscles.  At your age and being a basketball player, exercise and pushing it is the best thing for you!  You are healthy!  Tell yourself that over and over and over until your brain believes you!  Seriously!  There are many sick people in this world and I've seen many of them and believe me, you aren't one of them!!!  Listen to those cardiologists!  Look at Kawhi Leonard, LOL!  You should strive to be in better shape and be a better player than he is!!!  I guess you know where I live! LOL!!  Good luck and play, play, play!!  Play for all of those who really can't play!
