All the medical part is ok, but that's the problem, I can't get control of my thinking. The fear of dying from a heart attack while performing a physical action remains high, so I am obliged to pull back.
I understand that this is completely normal, but when it comes to physical actions, my heart rate takes control over my positive thoughts and I pull back.
I have talked to some doctors about this problem, but I haven't got a clear answer. Actually I'm not in any counseling about my anxiety, I've been some times before, but it hasn't helped me a lot.
Have an EKG to rule out any real problems. If all the medical is ok then get control of your thinking. Do you have a fear of dying?
Your heart rate will rise during sex and this is completely normal. Have you talked to your Dr about this phobia? Are you in any counseling to help with your anxiety?
