hi there i read your post and had to reply i have gastro problems and take an acid blocker for my stomach every day my main anxieties are health ones and there is nothing worse than stomach probs to make your anxiety and panic reach full flow i get hot clammy nauseaos and feel so so bad with it its awful really it is i get shivers and feel i cant breathe its terrible there is a well known brain gut connection and there is serotonin in the gut like there is in the brain you need to get anti ulcer drugs like acid blockers from your medic and these heal the ulcers after so long hope you get on alright with it all take care
If the medication the doc put you does not help you significantly, not only with your ulcers, but with the other issues, please do not wait 6 months to see him again.
The "mind/body" connection has been known for centuries and you are so right.........our minds are incredibly powerful and can play many tricks on us!
I hope you decide to get proactive and do some research on ulcers, their causes and the many things we can do to heal them. Visit sites like the Mayo or Cleaveland Clinics for authorative information and advice. I am not directing my next statement simply at you........it applies to virtually all of us. When we have a medical problem, our normal solution is go to our doctor, get a pill and then forget about it. We take no responsibility in our own wellness. It's the American way! Better living through chemistry.
I wish you relief from the pain and anxiety.
Peace

hi the dr put me on previcd and told me to come back in 6 months i did'nt tell him i had anxeity problems it's strange how your mind can make your body feel weird. thank u for your comment
Yes, it sounds like anxiety. What is your doctors plan to deal with your ulcers?
I am most certainly not a gastroenterologist, but you should be on a special diet and possibly some medications. If you don't have a follow up appointment with him to discuss treatment, I'd make one. And I would also bring up your anxiety issues. Anxiety and ulcers, not a good mix.
