fear of suicide

i've been diagnosed with anxiety disorder mixed with depression.I tried meds but nothing never helped,so i only use xanax 0.5 mg when i need it.Lately I've been scared about my health,i always check my sympthoms because i really am scared from death. But one thought is making me having panics attacks.I live on a flat in 5th floor,so im terryfied thinking''what if im gonna jump from there and then die''.In my ''normality'' I would never ever do it,but im scared of just go mad and kill myself.I cant be calm  :'( how should i distract this crazy thought ?Please help me

Of course! I know what it feels like to feel alone and scared of your own thoughts! It's quite terrifying. Look in to yoga poses online if anything. Researching coping strategies will help you to not only be distracted but also you will find helpful information. Good luck!

I understand. Do not let your fears rule you though, have you tried meditation, yoga or other coping strategies to distract yourself? All of these things have worked for me. I recommend meditation and writing to distract yourself until the fear passes or you fall asleep. Hope this helps!

Whatever you do, do not jump out of your window! You have so much to live for, you might not know it yet, but you do. There are people who love you, and would be devastated to lose you. I'm definitely not an expert, so I don't know what medical advice could help you for sure. My advice though, would be to call the suicide prevention hotline: Need help? In the U.S., call 1-800-273-8255. Please try and give them a call. They might be able to help you. I hope you are okay and I hope this helps in some way.
