I know how you feel I am going thru the same thing with paxil right now but I have only been on it for 10 days and i have had migraines every morning I wake up and they last all day til I go to bed only to wake up with it again...I take meds for the headaches but they dont touch it at all...I am dizzy and my vision is so blurry and I feel so nauseated....I dont know what to do either....I have tried over 15 or so anti-depressant and cannot tolerate any of them.....this is my 3rd time trying paxil and I am ready to quit....I know I need something cause my anxiety is really bad but who wants to deal with feeling worse everyday instead of seeing some improvements...

I cant believe you have been on it for 2 months an still feel bad....I will never make it that long....I will be off of it in 3 weeks if I dont see a change...I hope you get to feeling better....I know its so hard to feel so bad when you are trying to find something to make you feel better....anxiety is a horrible thing to experience on a daily basis....people just dont know unless they have had it...hang in there along with me....maybe we will pull thru this together....I will keep you in my prayers....God Bless

I am sending positive energy out to both of you.  Averica, the doctor bumped you up because you were not getting relief at your starting dose.  If after a month you are not getting relief there are two options.  Bump up the dose of the present drug or try a new one.  Either way you are going to have a couple more bad weeks.  I know it *****.  Wish they could come up with some better anxiety meds but for now we have to work with the ones we have.  Sissy pants, you know how I feel about your plight.  What an awful thing anxiety is.  Not really something you can LEARN to live with.  There has to be some kind of relief for you.  CBT or herbal remedies, hypnosis, acupuncture............Best oof luck!

Some people love Zoloft.  I did not.  I was on it for many years & it made me tired all the time.  I never wanted to go anywhere or see people while I was on it.  It made me withdrawn.  I didn't want to do anything.  I had no energy.  I didn't care about my home, bills, my marriage.  I was in a fog.  I still had some anxiety.  My husband couldn't understand why I couldn't do simple things like laundry & such.  He thought I was being lazy.  Nope, it was from Zoloft!  I didn't realize it then.  I kept gaining weight & even through excerise & healthy eating I could not get it off.  I ended up going off of Zoloft, because I was tired of the weight gain.  I felt so much better & dropped all the weight within months of going off!  I got my energy back!  However, diff meds work diff for people.  It's really trial & error with these meds.  I will say if you ever go off any SSRI do so at a SLOW pace & let your doctor know.  Take weeks to a couple months with lowering your dose or you will get withdrawals & they are not fun!  My anxiety is back & my doc wants me to try Lexapro.  I haven't yet, because I am scared it will cause the same side effects as Zoloft.  My advice is give it a few weeks if you don't feel better then go back to your doc & ask to try something diff.  There are several anxiety meds to try & not all have the same side effects.  Also, I know two people who take Zoloft & love it, which goes to show we all don't have the same benefits or side effects as others.  Please don't let my story stop you from taking your meds.  You need them.  You need to talk to your doctor about this.  Don't wait like I did.  I thought I was just getting older & more tired & gaining weight with age.  Little did I know it was Zoloft.  Good luck to you!
